Blue Shoe artwork can now be found in an additional gallery year round as well as in several rotating exhibits. We are so thankful that other venues find our original artwork to be popular with their customers.
The Artist Within, a new studio/gallery at 934 W. Market St. Baltimore, Ohio has a nice display of our artwork for sale throughout the year. This is a wonderful little gallery with lots of cool stuff. Owner Kathy McIntyre is an artist of various mediums and you can find lots of interesting pieces of her work as well as those of other local artists. ROTATING EXHIBITS
Blue Shoe Arts likes to put our artwork out in the community in as many places as we can on a rotating basis. The artwork at these locations is usually limited to a few pieces and are not directly for sale through the venue. If you are interested in any of the pieces in the rotating exhibits, just notify us either through email or by calling 740-756-7874 and we will handle the sale.
The Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 This is the newly-built Hospice facility of Fairfield County. We have 6-8 pieces of art in the family/children area.
AHA! Children's Museum, 315 S. Broad St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130. This is a brand new children's museum that is a must see!! We have 6-8 pieces of art that particularly fit in children's rooms. Metropolitan Housing Authority, 315 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 We have 6-8 pieces in their lobby and small conference room.
Fairfield County District Library, Northwest Branch, just behind The Opportunity Center, location of the Blue Shoe Arts gallery. We have between 15-20 pieces on exhibit there, presently featuring a large selection of decorated old wooden doors.
Julia's Salon and Spa is a new venue for a BSA rotating exhibit. One of our good volunteers, Patty, has arranged this and handels switching out the artwork (thanks Patty!). Julia's is located on Wheeling St. just west of Broad St. in downtown Lancaster.
The Sterling House has designated one of their apartments as a Blue Shoe Arts Gallery, plus we have another few pieces in their sunroom. This is an assisted living facility located just off Business Rt. 33 in Lancaster.
Fairfield Developmental Disabilities Administration Building and Forest Rose School, both located on Rt. 37 in Lancaster (just north of OU-L) have small rotating exhibits. Hours are 8:00-4:30.
